Causes Headaches After Eating Or Drinking Sweet?
Hello, I want to ask why yes every time lately I experience headaches / dizziness after eating or drinking sweets, even though I say it’s not too sweet but after consumption I immediately get a headache / dizziness. please help is there something that explains it or whether I have high blood sugar. thank you
Hello Dudury, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Headache is indeed a symptom that can occur both when blood sugar is at low levels and at high levels, including due to changes in sugar levels that are too fast, such as after consuming foods that are too sweet.
Because complaints like yours can also be caused by conditions other than blood sugar level disorders such as stress, migraines, tension type headaches, cluster headaches, or dehydration, it is highly recommended to check with your doctor for further evaluation either. in other complaints, physical conditions and maybe some other tests to determine what causes the emergence of your complaint and also what therapy should be given.
In the meantime, although not certain, it is strongly recommended to start limiting consumption of foods / drinks that are too sweet and to increase consumption of nutritious foods, fruits, vegetables and also water. It is also recommended to reduce consumption of foods high in salt and fat. If there is food, drink or other things that cause similar complaints, it is also advisable to avoid as much as possible.
Also do exercise at least 3 times a week for at least 30 minutes at a time, and go on a healthy diet to maintain your ideal weight. Also avoid excessive stress and make sure you get enough rest every day at least 6-8 hours a day.
I hope this helps.
