Causes Itching Due To Mites Easily Spread?
Hello, why does itching from mite bites spread? I’ve been treated and given antihistamine drugs, ketoconazole ointment / cream still itching. r nPlease advise.
first of all it must be understood that ketoconazole ointment / cream is a class of topical drugs used to treat fungal infections and not mite bites, so this drug will not bring any results at all if what you are experiencing is itching due to mite bites. In fact, side effects can occur further if the drug is not used as indicated by the doctor. Furthermore, it is important for you to understand that the itching that occurs due to mites comes from the body's allergic reaction to protein and the processes that occur while the mites live. In other words, if the mite infestation continues, the itching will continue to occur. We recommend that you once again have your skin condition checked by a dermatologist, to see what is actually causing the itching to persist and even spread throughout the body. Here we attach an article about mites. May be useful.
