Causes Of Blood In The Whites Of The Eyes?

Thank you for your question at HealthReplies.com.
Bleeding the whites of the eyes or often called subconjunctival bleeding. If there is no visual impairment, subconjunctival bleeding generally resolves on its own. Some things that can cause subconjunctival bleeding, namely: eye trauma, sneezing and coughing too strong, vomiting or straining too strong, using contact lenses, and rubbing too long or hard.
In general, healing of subconjunctival bleeding takes 1-3 weeks, and without any treatment the bleeding can heal on its own, consuming enough vitamin C to help the healing process.
You can do several things that can be done to reduce symptoms at home, including:
compress the eyes with cold water
eat nutritious and balanced food, to help the healing process
wear injury glasses to protect the eyes
If there are disturbances in vision, severe headaches, then immediately check with your eye doctor. In order to know the exact cause.
