Causes Of Corona Virus
Doc, I want to ask, what are the causes of the corona virus?

Hello, thanks for the question to HealthReplies
Basically, the coronavirus that spreads now is the virus that was first discovered in bats. This virus should not be transmitted to humans. However, it is estimated that this virus has mutations when infecting animals called pangolins, and it is from these animals that it is estimated that the virus will then spread to humans and transmission from human to human then occur.
If what you mean by your question is in what ways the corona virus can spread from human to human, then there are several ways to spread it:
The first is through droplets, which are particles released when COVID-19 sufferers cough, sneeze, sing, etc. This droplet flies in the air (and can survive hovering in the air for up to 3 hours), and if healthy people inhale droplets that contain this virus, then the healthy person can become infected.
Second is through direct contact. For example when a COVID-19 sufferer sneezes / coughs and covers with the palm of his hand, the palm of his hand will be contaminated by the corona virus. When a healthy person touches this hand (for example when shaking hands) and the healthy person touches his face (for example, scratching his nose) with a virus contaminated hand, the virus can enter his respiratory tract and the person will be infected
Third is through indirect contact. For example the hand of a person with COVID-19 (which has been contaminated with the virus) touches an object (such as a door handle), the virus will move from the hand to the door handle. If a healthy person touches the door handle, the virus will move into the healthy person's hand and if the person touches the face with a contaminated hand, the virus can enter the respiratory tract and cause infection.
Therefore, seeing how easily this virus is transmitted from one person to another, you are strongly advised to stay home, wash your hands often, disinfect objects as often as possible, use masks (non-medical masks or cloth masks) when you have to leave the house, and do not touch your face if you have not washed your hands thoroughly.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
