Causes Of Diarrhea After Eating A Diet Of Fruit And Potatoes?
I want to ask, I am 25 years old and want to start a diet, I have not eaten rice for 3 days but eat potatoes and fruits including dragon fruit and kiwi, but I become diarrhea, is it the cause of the fruit I eat or potatoes huh?
Dragon fruit can indeed launch bowel movements. But when it comes to diarrhea, it needs to think about other causes. Diarrhea / diarrhea is a change in the frequency of bowel movements more than 3x / day accompanied by changes in the consistency of the stool to be more liquid / liquid. Diarrhea can be accompanied by blood or phlegm in the stool, abdominal pain, and nausea, vomiting.
Diarrhea / diarrhea can be caused by the following conditions:
Infections of the digestive tract, for example typhus, gastroenetritis
Food allergies and intolerances
Side effects of several types of drugs
Inflammation of the digestive tract
Irritable bowel syndrome
For now you can do the following tips:
Eat foods that are easier to digest and are soft
Make sure you meet the fluid requirements to prevent dehydration when diarrhea
Wash hands before and after eating and before and after bowel movements
Get enough rest
Avoid spicy, sour, oily, fatty foods
Over the counter diarrhea medicine may be taken if necessary
When you have recovered, if you want a diet to lose weight, you can do it healthily by still eating regularly, but choose a lighter breakfast and dinner menu (eg fruits and vegetables), choose boiled / steamed food, drink plenty of water , and regular exercise. Rice can still be consumed but you can reduce the portions or can be replaced with brown rice or Shirataki
If the diarrhea lasts more than 3 days or if the stool bleeds and is slimy, I suggest that you see a doctor directly so that further tests can be done to ascertain your condition and so you can get more optimal treatment.
Hope it helps you,
