Is there any drops or something that can make my eye sclera back to normal color?
Hello Saramsyrb, Thank you for the question.
Have you ever seen a doctor to determine the cause? Do these yellow sclera complaints occur in whole or only partially? Sclera is the white part of the eye. Yellowing sclera is generally caused by jaundice. Jaundice is a condition caused by the accumulation of bilirubin in the blood due to the disruption of the formation and disposal of bilirubin. Bilirubin is a yellow substance produced from the breakdown of red blood cells which will be processed in the liver and excreted through urine and feces. Jaundice can be caused by hemolytic anemia, sickle cell anemia, malaria, thalassemia, hepatitis, gallstones, bile infections, and others. In addition to jaundice, sclera that looks yellow can also be caused by pterygium or pinguecula.
You should immediately consult a doctor first to ascertain the cause of complaints in your eyes. Your doctor needs to ask further questions about your complaint, examine you, and carry out investigations such as blood tests, ultrasound, and others. After ascertaining the cause, the doctor will determine the next treatment. Treatment will be given by a doctor depending on the medical condition that you are naturalist and not always in the form of eye drops. Therefore, it is important for you to check yourself to find out the cause first.
In the meantime, you can do the following suggestions:
Limit the use of electronic devices
if you must use an electronic device, make it a habit to rest your eyes by looking away from the electronic device for some time. Do this periodically
adjust the lighting of electronic devices and the room to be comfortable for the eyes
Hopefully this information is useful.
