Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies Basically HIV transmission can indeed occur through contact between body fluids that contain HIV (such as blood, vaginal fluid, semen, rectal fluid, breast milk) with open wounds. If indeed in your rectum there is an open wound, then transmission might occur. If sexual intercourse is still done in less than 72 hours, you can immediately see your doctor for a PEP (post exposure prophylaxis) or medication to prevent HIV infection. If it has been more than 72 hours, then there is nothing you can do anymore than wait for the window period to pass and conduct an HIV check to ascertain whether the risky behavior makes you infected with HIV or not. Having unprotected sex can increase your risk of contracting HIV and other sexually transmitted infections. Using a condom is one way to reduce this risk, but it will certainly be safer if you do not engage in risky behavior at all. In the corona virus pandemic as it is today, you should also not leave the house and make close contact with others, especially those whose health status is not yet clearly known. So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
