my eyes are often itchy, and often red, if I read a lot of writing like that book my head hurts, then for a while everything gets blurry and then focus again on the writing. my friend and the result is clearer than normal I see, my question is the part of the eye is minus or just love eye medicine yetes.

1 Answer:

Hi Rahmi,

One cause of blurred eye is minus eye. The minus eye is a refractive disorder where vision becomes blurred when looking at a distant object. In patients with minus eyes, the shadow of an object falls in front of the retina so that distant objects appear blurred. To correct blurred vision in the minus eye, you can use glasses or minus lens contact lenses with the strength of the lens adjusted to the results of the eye examination.

However, complaints of itchy eyes, often red, blurred vision is not always caused by minus eyes. In addition to the minus eye, complaints on the eye can also be caused by several other factors such as:

Eye irritation
Eyestrain
Dry eye
Conjunctivitis
Keratitis
Uveitis
Corneal ulcer
Glaucoma
Pterygium

If the eyes often experience blurry / blurred suddenly I strongly recommend that you see your eye doctor directly so that further examination can be done to ascertain the cause of complaints in your eyes. Some checks are possible, for example with a sharp vision test, examination with a trial lens, slit lamp, ophthalmoscope, and tonometry if necessary. If your eye condition has been confirmed, then the doctor can provide the most appropriate treatment for you, can be with glasses if there is a refractive disorder, or drugs to the action if caused due to other things as above.

In the meantime you can try to do the following tips:

Make sure you get enough sleep 7-8 hours / day
Set reading distance
Minimize the use of gadgets
Protect your eyes from dust and smoke and avoid staring too brightly directly
Don't rub your eyes
Adjust room lighting when reading or viewing gadgets
Eat healthy and nutritious foods
Rest your eyes regularly when using gadgets

Hope it helps you,

Thank you
