Causes Of Lumps Under The Eyelashes?
hello, I want to ask under my eyelashes there are two small lumps. shingga trasa there is a block when blinking eyes .. why is that?
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Small lumps that appear under the lashes that feel lumps may occur due to the following conditions:
Disorders of the eyelids or eyelashes, for example hordeolum (bumps, inflammation of the oil glands in the eyelids), kalazion (cysts of the glands in the eyelids), folliculitis (eyelash root infection), benign or malignant tumors
Allergic or irritant contact dermatitis (inflammation of the skin due to direct contact with an irritating substance or that triggers an allergy to the skin)
Milia (excess keratin deposition in hair roots)
Xanthelasma (buildup of cholesterol in the tissues under the skin around the eyes)
Skin tags, and so on
These lumps, if they have been present for a long time, get enlarged over time, or cause itching, pain, red eyes, runny eyes, visual disturbances, and other annoying complaints, should be examined directly to a doctor or ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment, for example by administering drugs, surgery or other therapeutic modalities.
Avoid carelessly giving any treatment to the lumps that appear without consulting a doctor first. Just focus on keeping your eyes clean, including washing your face regularly, not carelessly using contact lenses, not using excessive cosmetics around the eyes. If your eyes feel lumpy due to the lump, you can compress your eyes with warm water to make it feel more comfortable.
Hope this helps ...
