Hi Minutz,
Menstruation is a natural cycle that occurs in women of childbearing age up to menopause. This cycle can vary between women, but is normally approximately 21-35 days apart and lasts 3-7 days.
Menstruation that lasts more than 7 days is abnormal and is referred to as menorrhagia. The following are some of the things that can cause menorrhagia:
Side effects of drugs Hormonal disorders, the use of hormonal contraceptives such as injections or implants Blood clotting disorders Disorders of the reproductive organs such as pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, etc. Due to this condition has been going on 4x then you should check yourself to an obstetrician directly to determine the cause of your complaint and receive appropriate treatment according to the underlying condition.
Your doctor will ask about your history of complaints, your menstrual history, perform a physical examination and investigations. Supportive examinations that may be recommended by the doctor are ultrasound examination of the abdomen or through the vagina (if you are married) and blood tests. Do the examination if it is recommended by your doctor so that the doctor can provide the appropriate treatment.
If the complaint is caused by reproductive organ disorders such as endometriosis, the doctor can prescribe hormonal drugs to treat the condition or recommend a surgical procedure to overcome it.
Here are suggestions for you:
Consumption of healthy, balanced nutrition Manage stress wisely Get enough rest Do a healthy lifestyle Maintain your ideal body weight with a healthy diet and regular exercise Immediately consult a doctor if complaints persist or worsen Hopefully this is useful,
