Causes Of Post-Caesarean Wound Bulging?
Hello, I am 26 years old. I gave birth in a SC 7 months ago. But my post-SC wound was bloated and sore. A little reddish look. Even though the beginning of the Sc scars were not bulging, just like a cut. Is this dangerous? What caused it ?
Thank you for your question.
SC wound is a surgical scar that requires healing for a long time. In general, wound healing due to Caesarean section lasts for more than 4-6 weeks. However, to recover fully requires healing around the fastest 3 months. And each person experiences a different healing process and depends on the nutriti and activities when the healing process. In fact, there are some people who do Caesar who spend their healing time up to a year. Caucasian wounds will still experience pain even though it's been years. This is because the former scar is very deep, so that many organs are cut off.
There are several things you can do to help the healing process, including:
after the operation should do light activities eating foods that contain high protein, such as egg whites, sea fish and nuts take good care of the wound to avoid infection. not good, for example the wound does not close completely and will still look red in the former stitches.
There are several things to note, including: fever, severe pain in the surgical wound, pain during urination, redness and swelling in the surgical wound, pus out in the surgical wound. If you experience this, then immediately check with your obstetrician.
