Causes Of Prolonged Nausea And Vomiting?
hi…i’m here, I’m 21 years old, my weight is 58 kg and not married. For the past two weeks every day I have been experiencing prolonged nausea and vomiting. and every time I eat it comes back out. And my vomiting is in the form of whole food not soft, if I eat rice.. what comes out is a whole grain of rice.. and these few days it’s green and very bitter. And when I was in high school, it was about 5 years ago. Then I was treated for hepatitis A and gallbladder problems for about 1 month until I recovered..and when I was in college I also had pain like a lump in the abdomen in the waist area. And the general doctor advised me to have an abdominal ultrasound and a dx. hernia. My question is whether the problems of the past are still related to the present? thank you..please explain.
The green vomiting can be caused by mixing with bile, for example due to disorders of the gallbladder such as inflammation or infection. Nausea and vomiting could be related to bile disorders that occur.
Nausea and vomiting can also be caused by:
stomach disorders, such as gastric ulcers, gastric acid reflux disease, infections of the intestines, inflammation of the liver, gallbladder, or pancreas. Stress conditions can also trigger and exacerbate nausea and vomiting experienced.
Try to reduce consumption of fatty foods. Make sure that your body is getting enough fluids to prevent dehydration. Do not smoke. Limit caffeine/liquor. Have sufficient rest time.
If the symptoms persist, it is recommended that you see a doctor. So that a physical examination can be done by knowing the previous medical history, as well as supporting tests such as blood tests, ultrasound, or endoscopy. The doctor will provide appropriate treatment according to the underlying medical cause.
