Causes Of Rashes On The Penis That Come And Go?
I used to have a rash on the penis that liked to go away and it didn’t, and at the clinic I was declared gonorrhea, even though I only had 2x pain in the urine at different times and I did the treatment by intravenous drips, but the next day I checked it in the lab I do not have gonorrhea, and until now it has never appeared again, do I have to check again? Do I also have herpes checked just in case? Because when I checked for herpes in the lab it was also negative
Hello Herman, Thank you for the question.
In general, if you don't have any symptoms you don't need to be checked further. However, if you have risky acts such as having unprotected sex and frequently changing partners, you are still advised to get checked out for sexually transmitted infections regularly.
Rashes on the penis can be caused by:
irritation, for example from soap or laundry detergent
Please check with your doctor if you have had a risky sexual relationship even though you currently have no symptoms. The doctor will determine the next treatment if it is found that there is a medical condition that causes this complaint. You should not change partners and use a barrier (condom) when having sex to prevent sexually transmitted infections.
