Hello Alya, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Previously I would like to confirm a few things in advance:
Do the spots that you mean appear on the part of the wound where the scab just peeled off?
Do you use a wound dressing (wound dressing) or apply a certain cream or medication around the wound?
Basically, wounds that heal and appear scab often indeed itch. This is normal and not dangerous. Even though it feels itchy, you should not scratch your scar so that the scab that forms doesn't come off prematurely. This scab serves to protect the skin underneath which is still in the healing process and is very thin. Because the skin underneath the scab is thin, often you can also see small blood vessels from this thin section of skin when the scab is peeling off. These blood vessels under the skin look like reddish spots on the skin. You can't peel this scab and leave it alone. Peeling a scab can cause an open wound or an injury to the underlying skin, and can cause permanent scars.
Another possible cause of red spots around your wound is that you are irritated or allergic to certain ingredients that you use around the wound (for example if you use a wound bandage or you use certain creams or ointments around the wound). If this is the case for you, stop using the cream or ointment immediately and don't use the same wound bandage again. Another thing that is not related to wound healing that can cause symptoms that you experience is an infection in your skin (can be bacterial, viral, or fungal infections).
You should pay attention to these spots first. If more and more spots and itching, discharge or festering, you should immediately consult a doctor so that further evaluation can be done.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
