Causes Of Swollen Gums With A History Of ITP Disease?
. I bru in March and then from the ITP trainer. but sometimes I still have bleeding, especially on the gums. But why have my gums been swelling for 3 days ?? swollen and bleeding. There are already 4 gum swelling points in my mouth. And my gums are often bleeding. What does this have to do with my ITP disease? I do have a history of gastric sores.
Good evening, thanks for the question
Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) is an autoimmune disease in which antibody reactions in the body cause abnormal destruction of platelets so that the number decreases in the blood and causes symptoms of spontaneous bleeding. Symptoms of spontaneous bleeding not only manifest on the skin such as bruises and rashes, but can also be in the form of bleeding in the teeth and gums. Likewise in this case, it is very likely caused by low platelet levels due to a history of ITP disease. Be careful when brushing your teeth and cleaning the oral cavity. If this complaint continues it should immediately control with a doctor so that further tests can be done. This is because spontaneous bleeding in the teeth and gums usually indicates platelet levels in the blood that are so low that they require further action.
That's all, hope you can help.
