Causes Of Toothache Pain After Filling?
I want to ask that my tooth has a cavity then I already had it filled at the dentist but after I fill it how come it still hurts why is that ?? is that normal ???
Toothache can be caused by many causes including cavities. For the treatment of cavities is by giving pain medication and also actions such as filling or removing if the hole is very large.
Dental filling is done by drilling the decaying part and then filling it with a substance such as silver, porcelain, resin, or other materials. Fillings often have a painful afterward effect so dentists will usually advise against eating after the procedure for at least 1 hour. The dentist will also prescribe anti-pain medication.
If the pain persists a few days after that it can also happen, if you have taken pain medication you still feel pain, you should immediately check your teeth again at the dentist.
Gargling with warm water can also help reduce pain. Compressing your teeth with a tea bag, gargling with antiseptic medicine and cleaning between your teeth after eating can help relieve pain. Always maintain the cleanliness of teeth and oral cavity to avoid diseases, also avoid smoking because it has an adverse impact on oral health.
