Causes Stomach Cramps?
Morning, these three days, my upper abdomen felt incredible cramps, on the first day I thought it was a symptom of menstruation. Even though it is not yet time for the month. But until three days the cramps felt even stronger, not yet chapters and there was no sense of wanting chapters, but gas often came out. How to treat it? Thanks.
Hello M Fathir Amar Assani,
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a disorder of the digestive tract, especially the large intestine. IBS is a chronic (long-term) condition, usually accompanied by the following symptoms:
Frequent flue of gas
There is mucus in the stool
Changes in bowel patterns to diarrhea or constipation
IBS is a diagnosis that can be established if no disease or abnormality is found in the digestive organs of the patient. Doctors need to get rid of organic abnormalities in the digestive tract such as intestinal polyps, ulcerative colitis, Chron's disease or intestinal malignancy (colon cancer). Supporting examinations such as stool or colonoscopy should be done if from the examination and symptoms there are signs that point to these diseases.
If no organic abnormalities are found in the intestine, IBS may be the cause of the complaint. IBS is often triggered by diets / foods such as milk, coffee, sour foods, soft drinks; stress; and hormonal factors. If you experience constipation / difficult CHAPTER You can eat foods high in fiber and drink more water. Try to exercise regularly so that the bowel movements are good. Adding probiotic drinks or supplements may improve your bowel movements. Please consult further with your doctor if your symptoms persist even though you can defecate, symptoms appear repeatedly and affect your daily activities, other symptoms appear such as bloody bowel movements, drastic weight loss, vomiting. Thus the explanation from me, hopefully useful.
