Causes Swollen, Watery And Bloody Eyes?
in the morning my doctor was 2 years old at 2 months initially his eyes came out with a lot of eye discharge (belek) then the next day woke up his eyes were swollen in the afternoon his body was hot and his eyes came out water but red like bleeding.
Thank you for the question.
Excessive eye discharge and excessive blood, accompanied by swollen eyes, and body heat, may indicate your child has an infection around his eyes, for example blepharitis, conjunctivitis, uveitis, keratitis, endophthalmitis, dacryoadenitis, panophthalmitis, cellulitis, and so on. This infection can be caused by viruses, bacteria, and sometimes even fungus. The microorganisms that cause infections can enter the eye through various routes, can be through direct contact, injuries, or also in conjunction with other foreign objects that enter the eye. Depending on the cause, location, and severity of the infection, some of these conditions are mild, but some are dangerous.
In addition to infection, other conditions, such as rhinosinusitis, head injury or around the eyes, allergies, irritation, foreign body entry into the eye, nasolacrimal duct obstruction, and so on can also cause complaints like your child is experiencing at this time. It is also possible that the body heat actually arises due to exposure to extreme temperatures or infection in other organ systems, not pure in the eye.
Therefore, you should check your child directly to the doctor, eye doctor, or pediatrician so that the condition can be handled properly according to the cause. At home, you can try the following steps first:
Give children paracetamol as a fever reliever and swelling in the eyes
Keep the child's eyes, and the surrounding area clean
Compress swollen child's eyes with cold water
Give children more drink and balanced nutritious food variations so that their endurance is maintained
Keep the environment around the child clean
Keep children away from fans and dry air
Do not let the child stay too long outside the home, especially when the environment is polluting
Do not give any drops, ointments, or any ingredients to the eyes of children without doctor's advice
Hope this helps ...
