Chances Of Getting Pregnant During Intercourse On The First Day Of Menstruation?
thanks for the help
Hello Dewangga, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com
Pregnancy basically occurs when a sperm cell meets a mature egg cell, and fertilization occurs and is followed by attachment to the uterine wall and then develops into a fetus. When having sex at the beginning of menstruation, there is generally very little chance of pregnancy (when you are menstruating) but it does not rule out the possibility of pregnancy as well.
We recommend using contraception if you want to delay pregnancy. In the meantime, we recommend doing a pregnancy check if there is a delay in menstruation -- either using a testpack or through an ultrasound examination. So much information that we can convey, may be useful. Regards, Dr. Prasetyo
