Check Up Result?
Afternoon Dr. … my son is 15 years old. yesterday was checked out to the hospital. And the result is I just got it by Email.
Hello Liza, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
LED stands for sedimentation rate of blood where this examination is an examination carried out to assess the time needed by blood (red blood cells) to settle. The higher the time needed, it can be interpreted the longer the blood settles and this can be caused by an inflammation or infection that is running in the body.
While eosinophils are one type of white blood cells whose numbers are calculated through checking the count of white blood cell types. This type of arithmetic examination aims to help determine what conditions are experienced by someone based on the response caused by white blood cells that can be in the form of changes in the number of each type of white blood cell.
Eosinfoil, as a type of cell that is also examined, under normal conditions, can be worth 0 (especially if the examination is done in the morning) even though in some laboratories have a reference value like the laboratory where your child is examined.
However, it is highly recommended to consult the results of the blood test with a doctor who recommends that your child do a blood test to read the results of the blood test thoroughly and also adjust to your child's current condition to determine which therapy should be given to your child.
I hope this helps.
