Chicken Pox Is Suitable To Use Foamy Or Non-foaming Soap?
can chicken pox sufferers use foamy soap or not ??
Hi Aric, thanks for asking.
Chickenpox is a skin infection caused by the varicella zooster virus. Chicken pox is a self-limiting disease, meaning that the body can overcome the disease itself so that chicken pox rarely causes severe complications. Many myths say that when exposed to chicken pox, a person must not bathe and be exposed to the wind. Of course that's not true. It's when the skin has an infection like that then cleanliness is the main healing key. People with chickenpox still have to take a shower at least once a day.
If the body still feels a bit fever, may take a shower with lukewarm warm water. There is no provision for soap as to what to wear. However, for precautions you can choose soap that is not hard in formula, try to choose soap with minimal perfume. If what is meant by non-foaming soap is handmade natural soap, then it is certainly better because the chemical content is generally less than commercial soap.
It should also be remembered that when drying the body with a towel, pat the skin, do not move the towel because it can cause chicken pox to break. Also avoid using antiseptic soap because it can interfere with the normal flora of the skin.
Hope this answer helps. Regards.
