Children’s Fingers Are Easily Scratched Until They Peel Off?

Hello Mindo, Thank you for the question.
Have you checked your child's condition with a pediatrician? Peeling skin of the fingers in children can be caused by:
Eczema atopic contact dermatitis, which is inflammation of the skin caused by contact with a certain substance. Both of these conditions can give the same symptoms in the form of redness, dry skin, peeling skin, itching or burning. You should immediately consult with your doctor about the symptoms your child is experiencing. The doctor needs to know the complaint and examine your child's hand. From this examination the new doctor can determine the next treatment. Usually doctors will give steroid ointments to relieve inflammation if the skin condition is dry. Try changing to a milder soap and a mild laundry detergent. Try to identify the triggers for these symptoms and avoid them.
Hope this information is helpful.
