Choke On Peas And Throat Feels Prop?
Good afternoon … just ask right away. I’m really snacking on peas while chatting … then I stuck to one of the beans that I just ate … then I tried to get out but it didn’t come out “I got stuck in my throat … it’s stuck in my throat … is it dangerous?
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Do you feel you swallowed the bean? Do you currently experience symptoms such as difficulty breathing, difficulty speaking, chest pain, coughing, or other irritating symptoms other than a lump in the throat?
If you feel you have not swallowed the beans, or if you experience symptoms such as those mentioned above, you should immediately do a pulmonary examination to make sure the beans do not enter your airway. The presence of foreign matter (such as peas) entering the lungs can cause a blockage in one of your small airways (causing a small portion of the lung to malfunction) and increases the risk of infection. If indeed the peas enter your respiratory tract, then the peas must be removed immediately.
If the bean does not come out but you can feel you swallowed the bean (meaning after entering the airway the instant the bean returns to the digestive tract), you do not experience any symptoms afterwards, then you do not need to worry too much.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
