So, can this injury be fatal in the future? Thank you in advance
Hello Tata, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com.
The knee contains bones, muscles, joints, ligaments, and tendons. It is in these parts that you are likely to get injured.
Conditions that may happen to you
Trauma or strain to a ligament or the part that connects bone to bone
Trauma to muscle tissue or tendons (the parts that connect bones and muscles)
Degenerative process or aging in the joints and bones.
4. Meniscus tear
Tear that occurs in the meniscus (the part of the young bone that functions as a cushion on the knee) due to excessive movement
5. Septic arthritis
Inflammation of the joint area caused by the infection process
You are strongly advised to consult a doctor or orthopedic specialist to examine you completely and thoroughly. Things you can do right now are not using the injured knee excessively, using knee protectors such as knee bands, applying cold compresses to painful knees, and taking pain medication such as paracetamol or ibuprofen to reduce pain. Hope it is useful. Thanks.
