Cleanliness Of Baby Feeding Equipment?
Hello … I want to ask, are the eating utensils for adults or infants if after eating there is still some leftovers and then suddenly they run out with mice, can they use the cutlery again? Especially baby feeding equipment … Thank you in advance
Rat animals can transmit various diseases to humans, including:
Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome. Disorders of the lungs caused by viral infections transmitted by mice. Transmission can occur when inhaling air that is heavily contaminated with rat droppings or urine, direct contact with rat urine or feces, is bitten by a rat.
Leptospirosis. Transmitted due to drinking or eating food contaminated with rat feces or urine, contact with water or soil contaminated with rat droppings
Lymphocytic choriomeningits. Mode of transmission is the same as hantavirus pulmonary syndrome
Pes disease. Transmission through direct contact with rat droppings, due to rat bites
Salmonellosis. Transmission due to consuming food / drinks contaminated with rat droppings
Cleaning household items and environments exposed to rats:
Use a disinfectant solution to clean furniture or a home environment that has been exposed to mice. You can use commercially available disinfectant solutions or use bleach liquid diluted 1:10 with water.
Take the rat droppings that are seen using thick tissue and then quickly throw them into the trash
Use gloves when cleaning the environment that has been exposed to mice and discard the gloves afterwards
Wash your hands regularly with water and antiseptic soap
If rats come in contact with sheets, tablecloths, curtains and other linen products, they should be soaked in hot water and washed with detergent or antiseptic solution.
If you find a dead mouse in your home area, lift the dead mouse and put it in a closed plastic bag and discard. Wet the area of the former rat carcass with a disinfectant and let it sit for 5 minutes then wipe. After that, mop the area with a new disinfectant solution.
Items that have been exposed to mice can still be used if cleaned properly using a disinfectant solution. Do not leave food scraps carelessly placed so that they can be eaten by mice. Place clean cutlery in a closed container that is safe from contact with mice. Install mouse traps to reduce rat pests at home. Thus the explanation from me, hopefully useful.
