Clear White Colored Textured Gel?
good night, I want to ask after the menstrual period is finished lapse a day later, then in the next 3 days I experience a kind of clear and gel-like leucorrhoea for a week, why is that dangerous or not?
Hello Widya, thank you for asking.
Leucorrhoea is the secretion of mucus from the vagina. Normally the vagina does have mucus produced by special cells in the vaginal wall. The mucus serves to maintain the condition of vaginal acidity, protect against infection and irritation, and help sperm cells to move forward. Leucorrhoea can be non-infectious and infectious.
Non-infectious vaginal discharge generally occurs due to changes in hormonal balance. Occurs around ovulation or menstruation. Leucorrhoea can occur before or after menstruation. It is usually watery or gel-like, clear or sometimes vaginal discharge, and has no odor, no foam, is not accompanied by pain or itching. Approaching the menstrual period, vaginal discharge will generally be thicker so that it sometimes looks like glue or lumps.
Leucorrhoea may also be caused by irritation. Generally causes pain during or after sex.
Leucorrhoea is caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or parasites. Generally accompanied by itching, pain, foamy mucus, smelly, greenish yellow, or accompanied by blood spots.
If you feel vaginal discharge with non-infectious characteristics, then you don't need to worry because it is not dangerous and can improve on your own.
If you experience infectious vaginal discharge, then you should consult an obstetrician. The doctor may need to wipe the vagina to assess the cells contained in mucus. The treatment is tablets that are given vaginally for several days or weeks.
Thus my explanation, hopefully can help. Regards.
