Colds Accompanied By Bloody Mucus.?
At night, about a week or so I have a cold but 3 days ago (4 April) my snot bled a little, quite a lot of nights. The next morning (April 5) had stopped, then yesterday afternoon (April 6) until now (April 7) there were more. Please explain and the solution. Thank you
Hello! Thank you for the question on HealthReplies.com
Colds are the presence of fluid in the nasal cavity, which can be caused by the following conditions:
Infection of germs such as viruses or bacteria in the upper airway Allergy (allergic rhinitis) Inflammation of the sinuses Tears that come out of the nose after crying.
The blood that comes out of the nose as you find it can be caused by minor causes such as minimal injury to the nose due to being too hard when blowing snot, but does not rule out also being caused by other severe causes, such as nasal vascular tumors, nasal malignancies (nasopharyng carcinoma), blood clotting factor abnormalities, etc.
To find out the exact cause, you should consult a general practitioner, to be able to do a physical examination directly. If the exact cause is known, the doctor will provide appropriate treatment according to the cause.
If further tracking is needed, the doctor will refer to certain specialists according to the suspicion of the disease.
As for what you should do:
Avoid blowing your nose too hard to prevent nose injury. To make it easier to runny nose, you can breathe hot steam from a basin that is given hot water, or bask in the morning sun. Take care of your health with adequate rest, eat a balanced diet (multiply fruits and vegetables to keep antioxidant intake), and maintain a fluid intake of at least 2 liters per day
That's all the explanation from me, hopefully it helps and useful :)
