Colds, Sore Throat, Nasal Odor Sensitive, Snoring Sleep And Dry Mouth?
Hello doc. Good night. I want to ask, I have 2 years I often have flu and sore throat, excessive phlegm always snoring at any hour always snoring. After sleeping I always feel weak when I have enough sleep, sometimes my mouth is dry and suddenly wakes up because of choking phlegm. How do I suffer from sinusitis?
Hello Nur, thank you for asking to HealthReplies.com.
Let me introduce myself, Dr. Rio will answer your question.
Based on some complaints that you feel some of the possible diseases that you experience include:
Sinusitis. Allergic Rhinitis. Vasomotor rhinitis. Chronic tonsillitis. The snoring sleep that you are experiencing is caused by your abnormal airway, and my guess is that there are a number of possible diseases that cause nasal hypertrophy. Konka is an organ in the nose that functions to regulate the humidity of the incoming air, when the Konka enlarges it will cause an inhalation of the air you breathe. Snoring is often associated with a state of sleep apnea. In addition you also experience poor sleep quality, it can be seen from the symptoms that you experience when the morning still feels weak, even though the quantity / time is sufficient. Apart from that some of the above abnormalities are also experienced in chronic tonsillitis or the size of tonsils that are so large that it covers the airway.
To ensure some of the above needs a direct examination by a doctor. The doctor will complete the data that supports the diagnosis, conduct a physical examination on you, and support the examination if needed in accordance with the indications found. Investigations in the form of X-ray of the head, CT scan, blood tests, etc. can be done if the doctor suspects the presence of sinusitis. You can consult an ENT specialist with your problem.
That's all my answer, thank you very much :)
