Complementary Foods For Babies Aged 3 Months?
I want to ask, my baby is 3 months old but not breast milk, only milk. to give my child a little porridge for a companion to avoid hunger .. But I refuse because of my knowledge to the age of 6 months .. Is there a solution ?? Or is there any complementary feeding for 3-month-old babies who may not know. R nThank you.
Infants younger than 6 months are right not to be given any additional food other than breast milk or formula milk, because if given any complementary breast milk it can cause digestive disorders where at the age of less than 6 months, the baby's digestive organs are not ready to receive food other than breast milk or formula milk. If given, there is a risk of irritating the digestive tract, the baby experiences constipation, diarrhea, food allergies or difficulty in eating in the future.
If the baby's stomach sounds often ringing, this can be caused by various things such as babies needing extra milk or formula milk, increased bowel work, digestive disorders, faster stomach emptying or babies experiencing allergies from milk. For that you can check your baby directly to the doctor or pediatrician to find out the condition. Also give your parents-in-law understanding that feeding babies less than 6 months can cause health problems that can interfere with the baby.
