Consume Ginger Water When You Are Experiencing Stomach Acid?
Hello .. I’ve been very disturbed for 2 weeks with my stomach. I am improving my diet slowly and a little bit avoiding food that is not good for my stomach, now I drank ginger water but how come my bad taste is so delicious, why is that … I just checked the doctor last night and gave the doctor the medicine, thank God, it’s good the medicine .. So, I buried the rice slowly in my hbs maghrib hbs .. So there was still something rising above my throat. I brought ginger drink .. why is my stomach uncomfortable huh ..?
Wa alaikumsalam, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com. Basically, ginger is actually one of the foods that is useful for reducing the risk of developing stomach acid. Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties that can treat digestive problems, and is usually consumed by cutting or shredding it and then making warm ginger drink.
So that in your condition, try to think about whether besides consuming ginger, you are also at the same time doing something that can increase stomach acid, such as not eating any food or eating late, stress, just drinking coffee or tea, and the like. If not at all, you should also consider the possibility that your stomach may be sensitive to the burning sensation of ginger, although most people find this to be soothing.
Our advice, if you do not find another cause than ginger that causes your stomach acid to rise at that time, you should avoid ginger first for a while and see if the complaints come back. If it doesn't come back, (but apart from avoiding ginger, you don't change any pattern) then it is most likely caused by ginger, apart from that ginger is actually a spice recommended by people with stomach acid. But if even without ginger the complaints persist, then you must look for other reasons, and you can return to your doctor to discuss them together. So, hopefully it answers your question.
