Cope With Stress Due To Work Pressure?
afternoon, I experienced prolonged stress at work where job descriptions were unclear, work conditions where there was always pressure and pressure to fulfill customer requests, but when it came to fulfilling customer requests there were also problems with fulfillment, I’ve tried to minimize these obstacles, but still I just can’t fulfill all requests in the near future. Therefore I feel very stressed in addition to the work system that is not clear. What should I do?? thx..
The problem you are experiencing is not only happening to you but to everyone. Work is one source that can trigger a person's psychological stress. The stress itself is divided into 2 types, namely eustress and distress. Eustress is positive stress, for example the pressure of your work in a certain level, it actually triggers you to work optimally and become a more competitive individual. While distress is negative stress, for example in your case, if work demands are too high, work is neglected, then you can only be burdened by these thoughts without being able to develop. At a severe stage, psychological stress can pose a threat to mental and physical disorders.
To overcome this, it takes at least an openness from you to your boss, that your current workload is excessive so that it can cause stress which in the end is counterproductive. In addition, if the stress is too strong to cause people to no longer be able to work productively, then you need professional medical help. At this stage consult with a psychologist or psychiatrist who through the counseling (and medication from a psychiatrist if needed), can help relieve your stress. Also evaluate your activities, if there are activities that actually waste time and distract you from your main job. More about this, here we attach an article on tips for dealing with work stress. Hope it is useful.
