Good afternoon doc. Later my chest was painful and uncomfortable and I often had phlegm and 3 weeks ago did flu have any symptoms of corona? thank you
Hello Supandi, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
I will try to help answer.
Complaints about the chest, cough with phlegm, can be caused by:
Bronchitis: is an inflammation that occurs in the bronchi (one part of the airways), which is caused by a virus or bacteria. Symptoms experienced include fever, cough with phlegm, tightness, chest pain.
Pneumonia: is an infection that occurs in the lungs, caused by a virus or bacteria. Symptoms experienced resemble bronchitis, namely fever, cough with phlegm, shortness of breath, chest pain.
COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease): is inflammation of the lungs for a long time, thus causing obstruction of air flow to the lungs. Symptoms can be, shortness of breath, cough with phlegm, chest pain.
As for the symptoms of corona in general are:
Out of breath
Have a history of traveling to areas affected by corona outbreaks, or making contact with people who have contracted corona
Therefore you are advised to stay home, in order to prevent a wider spread of the corona virus. But if complaints arise such as severe chest pain, sweating, nausea, vomiting, shortness of breath, even fainting, then immediately take it to the nearest hospital to get further treatment.
Some things to do at home:
Avoid spicy foods
Avoid cold drinks
Avoid alcohol and cigarettes
Increase the consumption of water
Hopefully can help. thanks.
