Hello, I’m Albi, I want to ask about the spread of the Corona virus. Can the corona virus spread through the meat of other animals such as beef and so on, and does it potentially emerge from processed foods such as sausage bulb and others?

Hello Albi, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.

Coronavirus which has now been found and can infect humans actually has several types, and has a way of transmission that is almost the same, especially through:

Fluid released when coughing or sneezing
Close contact with sufferers
Touching the affected object then touching the mouth, nose or eyes before washing hands
Very rarely can pass through feces

Specifically for the 2019 Coronavirus novel (2019-nCoV) the first three ways are currently thought to cause human-to-human transmission.

Based on current data, there is no information yet whether there is a way of transmission through the meat of other animals (not processed) or processed meat, but this virus can only be found in animals other than bats such as livestock (including cattle), cats, and camels.

Although there is no clear research, it is strongly recommended to make sure you eat any food, especially meat that has been cleaned and cooked to perfection.

I hope this helps.
