Greetings HealthReplies.com,

Thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.

Having a history of previous complaints of illness, starting complaints of nausea, sore throat, and colds starting two weeks ago, and not accompanied by complaints of fever and no history of travel outside the city, then based on indicators of symptoms and risk factors for Covid-19 infection, this complaint is likely not Covid-19 infection. However, if you currently have a cold or your body has not felt recovered, then you should continue to do business at home or social distancing until healed and recovered.

Whereas related to the possibility of Covid-19 virus infection, where several symptoms and risk factors that need attention are:

Cough / sore throat
Fever> 38 degrees celsius
The cause of pain does not currently know the exact cause
Shortness of breath that is unusual
There is a previous history, which is the last 14 days ever contact with a suspicious patient Covid-19 or a positive patient Covid-19
The previous history, which is the last 14 days have traveled far or out of town / abroad where the area is a local transmission area that has been determined by the Ministry of Health or an authorized organization

So, based on these indicators, where you do not experience complaints of fever, spasms, and do not undergo contact and travel, then the complaint you feel does not lead to Covid-19 infection.

A history of complaints that you feel so far or during these two weeks, may be preceded by decreased stamina due to fatigue or lack of sleep. So striving for physical recovery and stamina by means of a proper rest will help restore your health. If in these 2 weeks your health condition fluctuates with a variety of complaints that you feel, this might be triggered by several things, such as:

Physical fatigue that you continue to experience
Smoking or alcohol consumption when consuming
Lack of sleep
Still often consume spicy, oily foods, instant foods, fried foods, ice, foods or drinks that are too sweet, or bottled drinks

Regarding complaints that you feel, any complaints that you feel can be caused by other medical conditions, such as:

Sore throat (not due to Covid-19 infection)
Allergy
GERD or gastric acid rise to the esophagus
Digestive infections
Sinusitis
Tonsils

Because some of these medical conditions can trigger complaints that are almost the same as you feel, these conditions do require evaluation and examination directly to your doctor. The doctor will conduct an examination and treatment to ascertain the cause of this complaint. However, since Corona infection is currently still on the alert, especially if you are in the local transmission area determined by the Ministry of Health, you should communicate and consult via telephone and / or online with your doctor, unless your doctor asks that you come directly to meet in person. Further medical treatment and recommendations will be given by your doctor to help restore your health condition.

Furthermore, if you currently are in a risky area but a fever of more than 38 degrees Celsius is not found and there is no shortness, then you should continue to work on some matters related to your health recovery and prevent corona virus infection for you and those around you by: :

First stay at home to restore stamina and endurance and to prevent transmission of other diseases
Avoid activities outside the home, so stay quiet at home until your condition improves and the area around you declared safe
social Distancing
Avoid staying up late
Avoid physical fatigue
Get into the habit of doing good personal hygiene such as bathing, washing your hands regularly, and using a mask if you cough even at home
Inadequate intake of nutritious foods and nutritious drinks
Avoid or limit spicy foods, fried foods, greasy foods, instant foods or foods that are less clean
Use hand sanitizer as a second prevention, especially if it is difficult to find soap and water
Do moderate exercise at home to help increase your stamina
And if possible complaints that you feel are increasing or accompanied by complaints of coughing, fever more than 38 degrees celsius and or shortness of breath, immediately to the provincial hospital or the city hospital where you live or call 119

So that although this complaint is not an indication of a new Corona infection, you remain aware of the condition and risk of Covid-19 infection, this effort is still being carried out in a context that is expected and your health condition will also improve.

Thus the info we can convey.

thank you
