hello, I want to ask I have 1 month dry cough has not disappeared, why is that? but not accompanied by other symptoms

1 Answer:

Hello Naufal, thank you for asking to HealthReplies.com.

Let me introduce myself, Dr. Rio will answer your question.

Cough can happen to anyone, anytime, and anywhere. There are so many conditions that can cause coughing. So it will be very difficult for me to determine the diagnosis if the complaint you feel is just a cough. From your complaint there are a number of possibilities that occur including:

Pulmonary tuberculosis.
Bronchitis.
Pneumonia.
Dust / animal fur allergy.

To determine this you must consult a doctor directly. Because the need for a more complete history taking, physical examination, and supporting examinations if needed such as sputum check, lung x-rays, or blood tests in accordance with the indications obtained. You can consult a general practitioner first, if you need specialist treatment you will be referred to a pulmonary specialist.

Right now what you can do is:

Get enough rest, and eat nutritious food.
Use a mask.
Avoid eating foods that are too oily, or do it first.
Be careful contact with people around you because some diseases can be contagious.
Evaluate other complaints that you might not feel.

That's all my answer, thank you very much :)
