If I don’t cough in the morning, but late in the evening I cough with phlegm and my throat feels itchy like being clicked on. I happen to have a magh too. And I always take medicine for citirizen and ambroxol. Is my cough corona or is it from gastric acid or is it allergic? And what is the medicine? Thank you dock. Please answer yes because I am tired if every evening before the night the cough continues.
Hello Syifa, thank you for asking to HealthReplies.com.
Let me introduce myself, Dr. Rio will answer your question.
Currently the world is being horrendous with the spread of Covid-19 infection. Including in Indonesia has been affected by the Pandemic. As of now there are 1800+ positive cases, and can still increase. That caused the impact of concern among the people. Not infrequently people panic, such as buying food, using APD to the market, until all complaints are associated with Covid-19 infection.
This infection was first discovered in Wuhan, China. Continue to spread to various parts of the world. The disease can be easily transmitted because of its transmission through droplets / saliva splashes (not by air / airborne).
Complaints commonly caused are high fever> 38'C, cough, and shortness of breath. Respond to complaints that you feel like continuous coughing every afternoon, and coughing throat can be caused by several diseases such as:
To determine a definite diagnosis must be through direct history taking by a doctor, physical examination, and support if needed in accordance with the indications found. For this reason, I advise you to come to the general practitioner for treatment.
Regarding whether you have a covid-19 infection, I cannot guarantee you are free, or have the virus. In diagnosing it is very difficult because of the signs and complaints that are not specific, and also the virus incubation period is 2-14 days. In other words, even an infected person may not cause symptoms so the contact history is very difficult. For that, some things you can do right now are:
Get enough rest, and eat nutritious foods to increase immunity.
Enough of your daily fluid needs.
Consumption of fruits, vegetables, and multivitamins to enhance immunity.
Do self-isolating, and physical distancing
Avoid excessive panic because it can cause complaints (somatization).
Wash hands before, and after activities.
Use a mask even at home because you have a cough complaint.
Evaluate your complaint, if it improves with medication, it can be ascertained that there is no covid-19 infection, but if the fever is high, there is excessive coughing, and shortness, immediately contact the health center or hospital.
That's all, my answer, thank you very much :)
