Cough, Runny Nose, Chest Pain And Dry Throat
I have been coughing for 13 days doc from cough with phlegm to dry cough included with a cold runny nose, the runny nose just lost its cough which is still working, why is that?
Thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Dry throat easily occurs due to several conditions. Usually these symptoms can be accompanied by other symptoms such as coughing, throat itching and pain, and so on. Some possibilities that cause dry throat complaints include:
Consumption of less water
Laryngitis, inflammation of the vocal cords
Pharyngitis, inflammation of the throat
Insufficient air humidity
Side effects of certain drugs
To find out the exact cause of the physical examination must be done as well as additional checks required. That way the cause will be known and the treatment can be planned appropriately.
For now, all you can do is:
Consumption of healthy and nutritious foods and multiply fruits and vegetables as a source of vitamins
Consume lots of water to avoid dehydration
Maintain oral hygiene
Chew sugar-free gum
Keep the air moist so it is not too dry
If that way the complaint does not subside and settle so that it interferes with daily activities, you are encouraged to immediately see a doctor for consultation, wear a mask if you have respiratory symptoms and avoid using public transportation. If the complaint can be resolved by means of limitation it helps you delay the doctor and stay at home. This was done due to the COVID-19 pandemic that was sweeping over.
So, hopefully useful. Stay healthy.
