Cough With Bleeding For 2 Weeks?
I want to ask.. I’m 33 years old.. I’ve had a cough for more than 1 month.. and for 2 weeks I’ve been coughing a lot and there’s only a little blood coming out. and the blood won’t come out when I don’t cough..when I cough the blood will come out and my chest will be tight..cough what am I actually experiencing…so my question is
Coughing up blood can be caused by several possible causes, including:
Bronchitis or inflammation of lung tissue
Tuberculosis or lung infection caused by TB bacteria
Pulmonary edema or fluid buildup in the lungs
Injuries to the chest and throat area or oral cavity
Liver disorders that cause varicose veins or widening of the vessels in the throat
Side effects of drugs
For this reason, it is necessary to know other accompanying symptoms and be examined directly by a doctor to determine the cause. The doctor will conduct an interview regarding the conditions that arise, past medical history, family history, physical examination and supporting examinations such as blood labs, x-rays, sputum sample tests, bronchoscopy, or scanning with CT scan or MRI.
Tuberculosis itself is an endemic lung infection in Indonesia, the symptoms include:
Cough that lasts more than 3 weeks
Excessive sweating at night
Decreased appetite and weight
Cough with blood
Fever and chills
may be accompanied by enlargement of glands such as in the neck or armpits
For that, consult a doctor to find out the cause and get treatment. Avoid exposure to dust, cold air and other cough triggers, drink lots of water, use a mask when you are outside the house and take cough medicine for a while.
Hope it is useful,
