Cough With Mucus, Is Corona Virus Infected?
Hello. Doc I have a cough accompanied by mucus. But I did not experience shortness of breath, colds or dizziness. Did I get covid-19?
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com
I understand your concern, let alone the corona virus outbreak that makes everyone associate the disease with this corona virus, indeed the corona virus attacks the respiratory tract, and sometimes can cause symptomatic or not. both mild and severe. but your complaint is not so specific. just coughing. it could be that the cough that you experience is caused by:
allergic inflammation inflammation of stomach acid disease: where there is an increase in stomach acid to the throat which causes throat irritation psychosomatic disorders due to stress or panic anxious about corona virus you should not need to panic, you can do isolation at home for now according to government recommendations such as social distancing or physical distancing. You can do this at home without having to see a doctor:
drink plenty of warm water at least 1.5 liters if this is caused by allergies you can avoid dust, smoke, animal dander you can use maxers you can take cough medicines that are sold diapotik freely if you feel very uneasy for while you can consume vitamin c or zinc to increase the body's resistance to consuming nutritious food multiply vegetables and fruits you can prepare throat lozenges avoid spicy, acidic and high-fat foods avoid caffeine and alcohol which is quite avoid stress if you have done the above but there is no improvement more than 2 weeks even accompanied by high fever and shortness of breath you can immediately go to the doctor to do the examination and handling appropriately.
Thus the info I can give
hopefully can help you
