Hello doctor, it’s been 5 days my neck and shoulders ached. I tried to overcome it by taking neurosanbe plus (because at that time I only had the drug) but it felt after taking it several times, my forehead began to feel cramps for a few seconds, but it didn’t hurt when touched. on the neck and shoulders it gets to the solar plexus. That’s why actually? Then how to recovery? thanks.

Hello Mutia,

Thank you for asking

Pain in the neck and shoulder area that radiates to the solar plexus can be caused by many factors, one of which is gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). This condition arises from not closing the valve perfectly which limits the stomach with the lower esophagus, so that the acid from the stomach partly rises again and irritates the throat. This condition will mainly cause pain around the solar plexus, chest, and neck. However, in more severe cases, pain can also spread to other abdominal areas even to the back and shoulders as you experience.

Besides GERD, various other conditions, such as fibromyalgia, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, nerve pain, gastritis, gastric ulcer, viral or bacterial infections, tension headaches, torticollis, etc. can also trigger pain as you experience. The cramps that appear on your forehead are most likely also the effects of the disease that triggers pain in your neck, smell, and the pit of your stomach.

At this time, considering that your complaint has lasted more than 3 days, we recommend that you don't allow it. Check yourself directly to the doctor or neurologist so that you are given the right treatment, such as by giving drugs, or maybe also supporting tests, such as x-rays, ultrasound, endoscopy, and so on.

Warm compresses in areas of the body that are painful and cramping
Get plenty of rest, don't just get physically tired
Drink more water
Eat more regularly, serving a little to moderate
Don't over-eat foods that are acidic, spicy, oily, and fatty
Don't think too much, stay away from excessive stress and anxiety
Exercise regularly

Hope this helps ...
