Cylindrical Eye 0.5. Is It Relatively Light?
Hello, tdi I just checked my eyes and I asked my eyes are cylindrical, namely the right and left size is 0.50. Is that still classified as mild or severe? Is it true that 0.50 cylindrical eye is equivalent to minus 1/2 (half) ?? thank you
Cylindrical eye or commonly referred to as astigmatism is a condition where it occurs because the cornea is not perfectly curved. it causes the image to fall inappropriately on the retina. This can cause symptoms such as blurring when looking at an object, blurring when you see a line, not being able to see small objects, and often squinting.
The size of the eye cylinder 0.5 is still not a light condition, and usually in the cylinder 0.5, sometimes many people do not use glasses. A cylinder eye is different from a minus eye, so a cylinder eye 0.5 is not the same as a minus 0.5.
You can check with an ophthalmologist, so that the doctor can check the condition of your eyes directly first, so that the doctor can prescribe the right glasses.
