Cyst In The Neck?
I want to ask, about 3 years ago I used a thyroid ultrasound and the result was a cyst on my neck, until now I have not checked it again because I just had a baby, which I asked whether I should go to a specialist doctor to check the neck?
Thank you for the question on HealthReplies.com,
Need to be explored further about the thyroid condition experienced. Need to know about when the condition of a lump in the neck appears, the initial location of a lump in the neck, initial size, progression of the enlarged lump (enlarges quickly / not), are there any accompanying symptoms such as (palpitations, pain when swallowing, eating disorders, easy feeling hot, pain in the neck and chest), if there are lumps in other parts of the body, a history of previous similar illnesses, a history of treatment that you have done related to these symptoms.
Cyst is a medical condition where the formation of lumps that can appear under the skin or organs in the human body, such as ovarian cysts, baker cysts, epidermoid cysts, and other cysts. It is advisable to consult a doctor of internal medicine in advance related to further examination and management. Keep in mind the cause of the condition of the cyst in the neck area that may originate from the thyroid gland or parathyroid, so that optimal management can be determined related to your condition. Avoid taking medication alone without doctor's instructions.
