Danger Of Chapters On Black Children And Diarrhea?
Assalamualaikum Doc whether it is not dangerous if the child pooped there are black fibers and diarrhea
Good morning, thanks for the question
Blackish-colored bowel in children can be caused by consuming certain foods or drugs, such as blueberries, iron tablets, bismuth, or foods that are dark bluish, greenish, or black. Black stools in more serious conditions can be caused by bleeding in the upper gastrointestinal tract, namely the esophagus, stomach or duodenal intestine. Injuries to the stomach or duodenum, abnormalities of blood vessels, or varicose veins in the esophagus will cause bleeding in the digestive tract that manifests as black bowel movements.
If you know clearly that there is a history of consuming dark dark foods, then black bowel complaints can be ascertained to be caused by this and are not a dangerous condition. But if not and black BAB accompanied by complaints the child looks weak, pale, no appetite, abdominal pain, looks sick, etc. then do not hesitate to check the child's condition with a pediatrician for further examination.
That's all, hope you can help.
