Danger Of Diabetes?
Hello, I’m Zulfa, I’m 21 years old I just found out that it turns out that I have diabetes, I tried to check my diabetes it turns out the results 423 I was shocked, then my lips broke my legs and I always felt itchy when I was in the shower, I wanted to ask what kind of diabetes am I experiencing now? Is it dry or wet?
Good evening, thanks for the question
Diabetes is a condition of high glucose levels in the blood associated with disorders of the hormone insulin. Diabetes is not divided into dry or wet types, but is categorized based on levels of the hormone insulin in the blood. Type 1 diabetes occurs when the body has little or no insulin, so it absolutely requires regular insulin injections to replace the function of insulin in the body.
Whereas type 2 diabetes occurs when insulin experiences resistance so it cannot be used by body cells so treatment is needed to maximize insulin sensitivity in the body. Type 1 diabetes is much less common, and affects more children, adolescents, and young adults. Symptoms of type 1 diabetes can appear suddenly, and can deteriorate rapidly causing a decrease in consciousness due to very high blood sugar levels.
Other common symptoms of diabetes include:
1. Frequent urination (polyuria), especially at night
2. Often feel thirsty (polydipsia)
3. Often feel hungry (polyphagia) but lose weight without cause
4. Nausea and vomiting
5. Dry mouth
6. Wounds on the body that are difficult to heal
7. Blurred vision
8. The body gets tired easily
9. Itching on the skin
The effects of diabetes cannot be underestimated because it can affect many organs as a form of complications. If it is detected that blood sugar levels are very high, you should immediately consult further with a specialist in internal medicine for further examination and treatment. Severe conditions can cause symptoms such as shortness of breath, kidney failure, central nervous system disorders, or loss of consciousness that requires immediate medical attention. Therefore do not hesitate to check your condition further with the doctor.
That's all, hopefully it can interfere.
