Depression When Thinking About Late Puberty?
I want to ask, I am experiencing anxiety and arguably depression because thinking about my puberty is like being late, and making me become ordinary about sex, and now it’s not too much thinking about it, but my sex drive is still normal, is it normal?
Hello Rafifaldi, Thank you for the question.
Puberty is a period in which a person experiences the development of children becoming sexually mature. In men, puberty occurs at the age of 12-16 years. In adolescent boys, the development that occurs during puberty includes: enlarged penis and testicle size, hair growth in the armpits and genital area, experiencing wet dreams, and sounds that become heavier. Late puberty in men can be caused by various conditions such as nutritional deficiencies, disorders of the thyroid gland, testicles, or pituitary gland, disorders of sexual development, heredity, and others.
There is no specific standard to state whether a person's sexual arousal is normal or not. Sorry I can't tell if you are experiencing normal puberty or not because you didn't provide information about your age. Furthermore, to determine whether a person has normal puberty, an examination by a doctor is needed. Therefore, if you are worried about this condition, please immediately invite your parents to accompany you to see a doctor. Only through a doctor's examination can you determine whether what you are experiencing is classified as normal. The doctor will conduct a series of examinations and determine further treatment if your condition is caused by a certain medical disorder.
I hope this helps.
