Many terms that appear related to the epidemic COVID-19, one of which is suspect, which stands for people in monitoring. It is said that someone belongs to the suspect group if:
1. Having a fever> 38 degrees Celsius which is no other cause based on symptoms that appear AND the person has a history of travel or living in an area or country that was reported to be included in the center of the spread of COVID-19 in the last 14 days before the onset of symptoms.
2. A history of fever> 38 degrees Celsius with no other cause based on symptoms that appear AND the person has a history of travel or living in an area or country that was reported to be included in the center of the spread of COVID-19 in the last 14 days before the onset of symptoms.
3. Having symptoms of respiratory disorders (cough or runny nose or sore throat) for which there are no other causes based on symptoms that appear AND the person has a history of travel or living in an area or country that was reported to be included in the center of the spread of COVID-19 disease in the last 14 days before onset of symptoms.
4. Have mild respiratory symptoms (cough or runny nose or throat pain) AND the person has a history of close contact with a positive sufferer of COVID-19 in the last 14 days before the onset of symptoms.
This suspect group will undergo independent isolation in their own homes under the supervision of local health workers. Now, while those who have close contact with suspect do not become suspect, unless you and your family have symptoms of fever or respiratory problems or both and the suspect is stated to be a positive case of COVID-19.
Even if you and your family are not included in the suspect or suspect criteria, you should still avoid physical contact with other people, keep a minimum distance of 1 m from other people, leave the house if you really need to and regularly wash your hands using soap and running water for at least 20 seconds or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer of at least 60%.
Thus hopefully useful.
