Diarrhea After Eating Spicy?
My name is Ali, a man, I’m 38 years old. What I want to ask is this: why every time I eat something spicy, I like to complain about diarrhea 4-5 times a day the only thing that comes out is liquid!!! years before that I didn’t feel that way! please explain thank you.
Diarrhea after eating spicy food is quite common. Spicy foods contain capsaicin, a chemical compound found in chilies. Capsaicin can cause irritation when in contact with the gastrointestinal tract which can lead to diarrhea. Some people may be able to tolerate the irritating effects while others may not. Usually, consumption of spicy food continuously and in large quantities increases the risk of gastrointestinal irritation.
Another factor that may also affect your diarrhea complaint is irritable bowel syndrome or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The cause is not very clear and sometimes there is no physical abnormality. It is strongly suspected that IBS is related to psychological factors such as stress.
Here are some other causes of diarrhea:
Gastroenteritis or known as stomach flu Bacterial infection in the gastrointestinal tract Food allergies Inflammatory bowel disease or inflammatory bowel disease Check your complaint directly to the doctor to find out the exact cause. The best treatment will be adjusted to the cause found. For now, reduce spicy and sour foods. Set a regular diet, consume vegetables and fruit, and drink lots of water. Also keep clean water sources and how to process food in your home.
