Diarrhea and vomiting in children may indicate inflammation of the child's digestive tract, for example due to food allergies, intolerance or malabsorption, infections (can be due to viruses, parasites, or bacteria), autoimmune disorders, poisoning, and so on. It could also, diarrhea and vomiting is caused by metabolic disorders, infections in other organ systems (such as hepatitis, urinary tract infections), dyspepsia (increased stomach acid), side effects of drugs, and so on.
Hazardous conditions you should be aware of if:
Diarrhea and / or vomiting occur more than 5 times a day
Blood or phlegm appears in the stool
Signs of dehydration or impaired electrolyte balance, for example sunken eyes, dry mouth and tears, little urine, skin pinch test is slow, fussy or sleepy baby, baby looks thirsty or just doesn't want to suckle at all
Fever appears more than 3 days
Diarrhea does not improve in more than 3 days
If one or more of the above danger signs you find in your child, you should check it directly to the doctor or pediatrician. Blood tests, feces, ultrasound, or other supporting tests can be done by doctors if deemed necessary. What you currently need to do:
do not panic
Give your child milk and water more often, give ORS if possible
Feed your child little but often
So that diarrhea and vomiting do not increase often, give your child first food that is soft and easy to digest, do not let children snack at random, do not give children immature food, do not also give children excess oily food especially spicy, make sure you wash your hands every time you contact with children, also teach your children to wash their hands before and after eating
Make sure you always maintain the cleanliness of the environment around children
Do not carelessly give medicines to children without doctor's advice
Hope this helps ...
