Difference In Fibroids And Papillomas?
Good evening I want to ask that fibroids with papillomas are different or the same?
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Fibroids and papillomas are two different conditions. Fibroids are benign tumors of the uterus, also known as leiomyomas or myomas. This tumor is classified as benign and will not become a malignancy. Fibroids generally do not cause certain symptoms in sufferers, so they are often not detected until the examination for other conditions. In some women, fibroids can cause symptoms such as heavy bleeding during menstruation, prolonged menstruation, pain during menstruation, pain in the pelvis, constipation, urinary disorders, etc.
Papillomas are benign tumors that grow from epithelial tissue, often also called warts. Papillomas look like fingers sticking out of the tissue where they are growing. Papillomas can grow anywhere (can be on the skin, cervix, penis, ducts in the breast, eye conjunctiva, and other places). These benign tumors can grow due to infection with HPV (human papilloma virus) in these places. HPV itself there are many types, there are types that are benign and have no potential to cause cancer, there are also types that are malignant and can cause cancer.
