Differences In Blood Cysts And Ovarian Cysts?
good afternoon doctor … I have a blood cyst 3cm while I have been given the medicine but the effect of the drug is not coming out to men … what is the danger? Are blood cysts the same as ovarian cysts? if the difference is where?
Hello Triwinarti, thank you for asking.
Maybe what you mean is an endometrioid cyst. These cysts often contain blood cells from small blood vessels in endometrial tissue. Then the cyst is brownish. Endometrium is tissue in the uterus that is in the innermost layer. The endometrium functions to receive embryos in pregnancy. If pregnancy does not occur, then the endometrium will decay, causing menstruation.
Endometrial cysts are different from ovarian cysts. Ovarian cysts are in the ovary instead of the endometrium. Ovarian cysts consist of functional cysts and non-functional cysts. Therapeutics and actions are certainly different for each condition. We do not know what drugs are given to you, so we are also not sure whether your menstrual delays are caused by side effects or not. If the drug contains synthetic hormones, it might cause menstrual delay. You should ask the treating doctor, in order to get a more detailed explanation.
That's the short answer I can give. I hope this helps. Regards.
